Supported by Ontario Certified Teachers

Fast Track is OES’s priority service added to any course you take with OES. It gets your summative work graded in 1–2 business days instead of the usual 3–5, guarantees 24-hour teacher email response times, speeds up midterm and final report card processing, and gives you prioritized administrative support for OUAC/OCAS uploads. It exists for students who need their credit — and their marks — on a deadline.

OES courses are self-paced, so you can finish in as little as 4 weeks — and with Fast Track, you’re never waiting on grading, since summative work is returned in 1–2 business days. Note that OES requires you to complete the course at least 5 days before your deadline, so build that buffer into your plan when working toward an application or graduation date.

No. Fast Track is a service you add to a course you’re enrolled in at OES, not a different course or curriculum. You complete the same Ministry-aligned course with the same assessments and the same Ontario Certified Teacher — Fast Track simply prioritizes your grading, teacher response times, report card processing, and administrative support so your timeline moves faster.

Fast Track is a paid add-on per course for $200. OES also offers savings when fast-tracking multiple courses. For current pricing questions, contact info@oeshighschool.com or see the School Fees page.

Fast Track is built for deadline-driven students: those upgrading marks before a university or college application deadline, meeting an admission requirement, retaking a failed course before September, or finishing a final credit to graduate on time. It also suits students who simply want their work returned quickly so they can keep momentum through a self-paced course.

Yes — that’s its main use. Fast Track prioritizes your summative grading (1–2 business days), speeds up midterm and final report card processing, and gives you prioritized administrative support for OUAC and OCAS uploads, so your new mark reaches the application centres sooner. Plan to complete the course at least 5 days before your deadline, as OES requires.

With Fast Track, summative work is graded in 1–2 business days, compared with the usual 3–5 business days on a standard OES course. Teacher email responses come within 24 hours. Over a full course, that faster turnaround compounds — you get feedback while the material is fresh and can move to the next unit without waiting.

No. Your course content, assessments, and evaluation standards are identical with or without Fast Track — it’s the same Ministry-aligned course, marked by the same Ontario Certified Teachers. Fast Track changes the speed of service around the course: grading turnaround, teacher response times, report card processing, and OUAC/OCAS administrative support.

OES requires Fast Track students to complete their course at least 5 days before their deadline. That window lets teachers finalize your summative grading and lets administration process your final report card and transmit marks to OUAC, OCAS, or your school. Count backwards from your application or graduation deadline and set your personal finish date at least 5 days earlier.

Yes. Fast Track is a service on a regular OES course, and OES is a Ministry-inspected online school (BSID #667186) — so the credit counts toward the two online learning credits required of Ontario students who started Grade 9 in 2020–21 or later. An opt-out process exists through school boards, and specific provisions apply to students affected by the 2021 school closures.
